Switching to veganism greatly impacts one’s life. It involves not only dietary change but also plenty of adjustments and compromises. This shift alters your personal and social life, and presents new kinds of challenges: one of them being not being able to enjoy cuisines which are predominantly meat-based.

We love Asian Food! So easy to make, and so delicious to eat! The average person may associate Asian recipes with juicy and tender meaty bites with slurpy noodles (meaning Asian recipes are usually meat-based…yes? Actually, no.) There are plenty of vegan options for your favourite Asian recipes! All you have to do is swap the meat with the likes of tofu, tempeh, seitan or even cottage cheese - and it’ll be just as delicious.

We want to change the notion that being vegan restricts you to boring, bland or unsavory food. You may not always find vegan substitues for your most cherished Asian recipes at restaurants, but you can always cook them at home, with some basic know-how.

We have curated a list of 20 Vegan Asian Recipes for you to try. Most of them use easily available ingredients, are simple and can be cooked in less than 45 minutes.
