THANKSGIVING RECIPES FOR THE SOUL :

The search is over! Nymble brings you a one-stop-all curation of the Best Vegan Thanksgiving dishes you can find on the internet. All in one place.

The enormity of uncertainty has been looming large over us ever since the onset of the pandemic. Only the wisps of memories trail as we try to imagine yet again a rich moment of celebration, a robust moment of togetherness and a sombre note of gratitude. After all that we have been through, it really isn’t the easiest task to look back and spell out all that we may be thankful for.

However, much to our relief and perhaps stemming from our ancestor’s impeccable foresight, a table full of extravagant and delish spread of food could almost never go wrong in bringing out a screaming-whisper of gratitude, if not more! As restrictions ease off this time around, we hope that all of us can look forward to as fulfilling a Thanksgiving Day as can be along with a dinner table brimming with folks and food.

We at Nymble love to celebrate food, memories and people. It’s as simple as that. To infuse you with an early Holiday spirit, we are here with a curation like no other that’ll set the ball rolling for the rest of the season.

And wait! Nobody is left behind this time around. It’s safe to say that the pandemic also stilled the clatter of 21st-century life, created room for reflection and paved the way for conscious living. Inclusivity is in the air. So why worry about Turkey on the other side of the table, when you can Gobble Gobble the Vegan way!

1. Vegan Risotto with Sage and Pumpkin

Can you imagine one of the most feared recipes also being one of the best comfort foods out there? Risotto it is! With the addition of pumpkins and sage, you’ll find the warm nutty flavours of autumn glazed through-and-through your bowl.

2. Vegan Wild Rice with Wild Mushrooms

Go wild with this one! While Wild Mushrooms can be a rarity, this blend of ingredients manage to pack in the flavours that make this dish an absolutely ‘wild’ hit. Expect the sweetness of the rice and the creaminess of mushrooms to melt onto your palate, while the greens balance it with the peppery bitterness. The creator of this recipe also suggests substituting Arugula with Dandelions as an interesting take on the dish.

3. Vegan Minestrone with Butternut Squash

Coming from a self-taught cook, this recipe preaches — “More is MORE”. You won’t be disappointed with this soup-for-the-soul that is jam-packed with veggies and pasta and will at best make you question if it’s a soup or a stew. Regardless, this Minestrone is bound to be a zippy banger.

4. Vegan Holiday Stuffing using Savory Oats

Whether it’s your Breakfast bowl or stuffing, let this dish tease your anticipation for the Holiday season AND a healthy lifestyle. This dish is a modern-day spin on the use of traditional dried bread — apart from the blithering levels of healthiness, the Oats will spruce up the entire texture-profile of the meal, thus adding a fine touch.
